I am halfway through this and I can't put it down. Absolutely hilarious. A parody of the jonbenet case, but so far it is not about the murder, just about the dysfunction of a social-climbing upper-class, suburban family. Told through the son/brother's point of view. Fake memoir. Very dark and very, very funny.

Brilliant. Entertaining, smart, funny, risky....a must read.

Half way through I couldn't figure out the point. Too slow....

This book is hard to put down. It is wonderfully written, funny and sad, and terribly clever. I am sad it is over!

I had trouble finishing this. It was a bit tedious. Overly descriptive. A bit slow. But I might pick it back up.

A little predictable, but nevertheless fun. I think, though, that at this point, I prefer some Sophie Kinsella's stand alone books. Looking forward to reading Twenties Girl.

This was yet another great find. I wasn't sure what to make of this one. The synopsis didn't seem terribly compelling, but I was in the mood for something light and it seemed like it would do. I was pleasantly surprised. There was much more to the plot that was described on the back. A little predictable, but well worth the read.

Another great find. I loved the antics of this likeable heroine. Nothing like masquerading as a practicing Jew over the holidays to get yourself into a boatload of trouble. I knew the heroine was bound to be caught, eventually, so I was a little nervous wondering how it would all go down.

I felt this was a departure from her first three books, but I liked it. It was a pretty quick read and I had trouble truly connecting with the characters and engrossing myself in the book, but it wasn't bad.

This is the second book I have read by Yates. He is probably one of the most gifted writers from a technical standpoint. Not as good as Revolutionary Road, and definitely similar, but still worth reading.

Slow and uneventful. Slightly dumb and frustrating. I found it hard to validate the main characters, but the ending made up for the majority.
