This great remake wasn't as graphic and introduced running living dead, if you think about it, if they were truly dead their ankles would snap trying to run. But non the less a well made movie with a great cast, special effects & *gasp* a good story.

Everyone thinks this is the weakest of George A.Romero's zombie fest. "Diary" is more about social satire than flesh eating. Romero gets his point across. I saw it at the theater and braced myself for body ripping flesh eating zombies but what I got was a great story. The more I watch it the better I like it. "Diary" is this generations "Night of the Living Dead."

The most dismal and depressing of all of the "Dead" movies where all the survivors hide in an isolated underground bunker with a tyranical military leader and scientist trying to humanize zombies. Good horror flick.

Good zombie movie with loads of flesh eating and zombie kills. The story on this one doesn't shine as bright as the other "Dead" flicks but Romero gets his point across with a isolated fenced-in community and thinking Zombies. Plus John Leguizamo looks like he belongs in the "Thriller" video when he changes into the living dead.

This is the one that started it all. There would be no zombie movies today if it wasn't for the great imagination of George A. Romero turning the classic zombie into the terrifying flesh eating living dead.
