Buy new: $208.49 / Used from: $125.95 I have to put an asterik with this one. The first four seasons were amazing and even though season seven I made a point never to miss it. Sadly it has gone on so long that I have not watched it for over six seasons now.

Buy new: $12.49 / Used from: $11.66 The show that set the benchmarks for conspiracy theories and all out wierdness. What I really loved was the shows understated sense of humor and the rapport between Scully and Mulder. Few shows can truly creep you out one minute and crack you up the next..all in the same episode.

Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $11.50 So it is a show with the disease of the week that is always solved with ten minutes left in the episode...it doesn't matter here. The relationships between the main characters and the best written lead character on television today are what truly drives this one!

Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $16.79 Not as good as the Amazing Race...but it is still addictive. I usually don't pay too much attention before the merge..but the last 10 weeks every season is usually good television.

Buy used from: $20.99 This one was done a great disservice by its network which sold it down the river. Great cast and fantastic writing by Aaron Sorkin. The West Wing would be a bigger hit, but the quality here is just as good.

Buy new: $17.49 / Used from: $11.99 Not many comedies on my list because very few are smart and not cliche...this is one of them. Truly a make you fall off of your seat laughing type of show that sometimes makes you wonder how they got away with saying that on national television.
