This one is quality writing and the best regency gay romance I have read. Excellent plot and 2 vulnerable guys we could so easily root for as their angst filled romance touches you from the very beginning to the last sentence. Rate: 5 stars

Among my top favorites. Disappointed that it is out of print as any gay or M/M romance fan will love it. Excellent plot, intense romance and 2 very interesting characters, as one hunk of a cop falls for his male prostitute but all is not what it seems. Far from it! This is one which I go back to now and then to read my favorite parts. Rate: 5 stars

Love Josh's "Lovers and Other Strangers". Original, suspenseful and tightly paced it has me guessing till the end. But it is his characters which truly shine and the prose is almost poetic here. Jordan's Body Art has a sinister atmosphere and her 2 characters here are unique, almost "broken" but not quite. Rate: 5 stars

The 3rd in the Deadly series is an intense thriller with a cold sociopath stalking Stanley. Tom is there to protect him but a what price! The last few chapters left me breathless! I wish Mr Victor Banis has been kinder to one of his heroes. Rate: 5 stars

Not your typical vampire story of guy meets vampire and gets turn into one. The plot is highly original and the characters appealing and well developed, the romance between vampire and human sensual and credible. Maxfield writes with a dry humor too as our elite vampire on top of the food chain charms his way into our doctor's heart. I cannot get enough of Maxfield's vampire world. Rate: 5 stars

Original plot with a heavy theme. David's plight as he cope with his Alzhemer's striken father is both credible and at times heart wrenching. Travis, weary of the horrors in his crime world, does not have it easy either. How these 2 men find comfort in each other is one engrossing read. Rate: 5 stars

Love the Campus Cravings series and the best is Forbidden Freshman, one of the 2 stories here. What do you do when you find yourself falling in love with your best friend's son. This is what happened to our good doctor who has to overcome age gap, his best friend's repulse and the beautiful young man's emotional abuse. An emotionally driven beautiful story. Rate: 5 stars

The memoirs of one seemingly ordinary gay man struggling with his mother dying of cancer. Complex and credible characters in a moving story punctuated by unsentimental moments which makes it even more effective. Lovely flow of words and excellent writing. Again a committed relationship between two 40 plus years old men which I appreciate Rate: 5 stars

The first in the Common Powers series. Reminds me of Ally Blue's Easy but not as emotionally written and certainly not as good. While I like Sammi (the sex slave) I would have preferred Mitchell the supposedly knight in shinning amour to be more alpha. Rate: 4 stars

I struggle with this one. I love the plot and Nicky. But I just do not like Brandon and the inconsistencies in his character. With his tattoos, piercings and bad boy biker image you would have thought he is fearless but he is so deep in the closet that I just want to slap this coward! Even the last page could not redeem this character. Still an absorbing read. Rate: 4+ stars

Consisting of 2 novellas on the same characters released months apart, the plot flows seamlessly as Robert, a high flying executive finds love with Jesse, a tatooed and sexy bartender. Each novella spans a few days but ML Rhodes as usual manages to inject the deep feelings of her 2 vulnerable men into the stories. Rate: 4.5 stars

Well written and intense BDSM as a DOM intrude into the relationship between 2 subs and somehow earn his place as their Master in a threesome relationship which could work. Rate: 4.5 stars.

This is one light hearted and a fun read. Love a guy who "hears" animals. A bit of angst as his gift is questioned by the new found lover. Rate:4 stars

Not the usual from this writer who writes terrific M/M crime romance. Better than the usual erotica romance but her 2 guys seem too good to be true, unlike her usual complex characters. PA, please stick to the M/M crime romance you excel so well! Still this one stands out among the myriad M/M erotca romances. Rate: 4.5 stars.

A fun paranormal romance between an alpha wolf and a geeky human, even as the plot is stereotype. A bit too much sex or maybe it is because it is too repetitive and the same old, same old. Rate: 4 stars
