![]() | Destination Moon by Deborah Cox
Buy new: $15.99 / Used from: $2.17 Album Of The Year: Destination Moon By Deborah Cox.
I was absolutely blown away with this magnificent tribute to Dinah Washington's sonnets. Deborah did a great job with the polish of her voice and soul on this record. It is mezmerizing. Destination Moon is the 2007's compliment to Unforgettable With Love from Natalie Cole.

![]() | The Simpsons Movie
Buy new: $15.99 / Used from: $1.48 Best Movie Song: Simpsons Theme from Green Day.
While there haven't been any good songs from the movies, you can always count on The Simpsons to bring in the light of day. Green Day spiced it up pretty well for The Simpsons Movie.

![]() | Traveling Wilburys (2 CD / 1 DVD) by The Traveling Wilburys
Buy new: $24.99 / Used from: $15.00 Best Rock Song (tie): Maxine by The Traveling Wilburys
With the classic 80's re-release of The Traveling Wilburys from Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and company, there was something magical from that rock album, and something new that was welcomed. I thought Maxine was a simple pop song that just was from the heart, and very bold to a whole new generation of Wilbury followers.

![]() | Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur (+2 Bonus Tracks) by Various Artists
Best Rock Song (tie): Working Class hero by Green Day.
I really thought the whole Instant Karma record was mostly a miss, but Green Day made a dominant cover of John Lennon's classic. I really thought this was the best Lennon cover I've heard in years, and Billy Joe and company made it happen nicely.

![]() | Georgia Rule (Widescreen Edition)
Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $1.49 Worst Actress/Singer (tie): Lindsay Lohan for Georgia Rule
She was very hammy, and her personal life with drugs and her family really showed in her work lately. I think Lindsay Lohan should get her life together, otherwise she won't have any career soon in Hollywood.
|
![]() | Como Ama una Mujer by Jennifer Lopez
Buy new: $8.99 / Used from: $1.86 Worst Actress/Singer (tie): Jennifer Lopez for El Calietnte.
I really wasn't impressed with Jennifer teaming up with Marc Anthony on this record. She hasn't really delivered a down to Earth definitive role since Selena. On top of that, she needs to work on her pipes, because they're out of tune.

![]() | Turn It on Again: Tour Edition by Genesis
Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $3.03 Artist Of the Year: Genesis
Reuniting never felt so good with Phil Collins, Mike Rutherofrd and Tony Banks. The group returned as unison so well, and they sound just even better than ever, with their catalog being reissued. I really hope for something new from them to add on to this excitement soon. They're really a group that we know can dance.
|
![]() | Fantasia by Fantasia
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $2.73 Worst Collaboration: Fantasia & Big Boi from Outkast with Hood Boy.
I really wasn't welcomed for this song. It just felt very flimsy, and didn't deliver with promise, like most of the other American Idol contendors past and present recently. Fantasia made up for The Color Purple, but this song was black and blue.

![]() | The Essential Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Buy new: $22.99 / Used from: $10.80 Best Greatest Hits Album for solo artist: Essential Paul Simon
I love the simplicity Paul Simon has made his music for years. His songs always remain joyous and worth promise. I really love his guilty pleasures from You Can Call Me Al, to Graceland. This record was worth its promise.
|
![]() | Classic Hits
Buy new: $9.49 Best Male Album: Classic Hits by Joe Cocker
It is too bad this album is only available for downloading off the internet. It was a much better record than the actual Joe Cocker hits record made for the stores. This one did a great job of Joe's Capitol Records era.

![]() | Gimme More
Buy new: $8.49 / Used from: $26.77 Celebration Of The Year: Britpack Dies!!!!
Hollywood hates Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. They are just complete trash! With all their outrageous problems from jail time to cocaine with the Britney's kids, their a complete mess, and nobody wants them around anymore!!!!
|
![]() | Greatest Hits: My Prerogative by Britney Spears
Buy used from: $4.99 Worst Live Performance: Britney Spears at the MTV Awards
I really thought this was the most disgraceful performance MTV has ever had. Britney seemed like she was too preoccupied with her personal life and that showed from her custody and vices embattling. Gimme More, was really worth nothing but a train wreck!!!
|
![]() | Katharine McPhee
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $0.79 Worst New Artist: Katherine McPhee
I wasn't impressed with her opening single, Love Story. She really hasn't scored well with her debut record. It just felt like a missed opportunity.
|
![]() | Ugly Betty - The Complete First Season
Buy new: $20.49 / Used from: $11.29 Best Actress/Singer: Vanessa Williams for Ugly Betty
I really loved Vanessa on this show. She absolutely delivered a fantastic performance on Ugly Betty as Betty's boss. She really still has the appeal and can show young Hollywood what real acting is!!

![]() | WCBS FM 101.1 25th Anniversary,: The 60's - Tenth Anniversary Edition by Various Artists
Buy new: $16.97 / Used from: $12.53 Comeback Of The Year: Return Of WCBS-FM!!!
After the dissapointment of Jack-FM, the classic oldies station returned with revenge. I am really glad classic music feels so young again on the radio.

![]() | What Time Is It? (from 'High School Musical 2')
Buy new: $1.99 / Used from: $0.01 Worst Movie Song: What Time Is It? from High School Musical 2
I really hated this song. It just felt very cheap, and shows songs are now more about hype than heart. I thought this was awful

![]() | Memory Almost Full by Paul McCartney
Buy new: $10.97 / Used from: $0.39 Best Dance Song: Dance Tonight by Paul McCartney
This was a really wonderful diddy Paul had recorded. This was short and simple, but worth the polish to Paul's youthful attitude.
|
![]() | Stars Are Blind by Paris Hilton
Buy new: $17.98 / Used from: $0.05 Worst Interview: Paris Hilton on Larry King Live
I really thought Paris seemed like she was disoriented from making herself heard from her 3 weeks in jail. She really left more questions behind, and lied about changing her ways. She is drinking and partying all the way to the bank.
|
![]() | Barry Manilow - The Greatest Songs of the Seventies
Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $1.66 Worst Male Album: Barry Manilow's Greatest Songs Of the 70's
After what Barry did so well with his Songs of The 50's album a few years ago, he really didn't add up the appeal here with weak covers of Elton John's Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word and many other songs, it just didn't work. Not even new versions of Barry's own songs made it work at all.
|
![]() | The Very Best of the Human League by The Human League
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $5.32 Worst Ad Campaign: Don't You Want Me from Human League for Chips Ahoy.
I really didn't find this mix with talking cookies in the car driving with The Human League's 80's classic to go well.
|
![]() | Genesis 1976-1982 by Genesis
Buy new: $77.97 / Used from: $50.61 Box Set Of the Year: Genesis 1976-1982
This collection really showed Genesis in a whole new sound in 5.1 surround sound, with a lot of great albums like Abacab and Duke revised in a whole new light. With Genesis reuniting this year, the feeling sounded better than ever, and that is not a trick of the tail to miss out upon.
