Spectacular, glittering movie chronicling the rise and fall of a fictional (though heavily based in fact!) glam rock star. In my opinion, there's a kiss between Ewan McGregor and Jonathan Rhys Meyers that is the best screen kiss ever kissed. Christian Bale is also fantastic in this.

Fun and sweet. The cast has great chemistry and the movie has music that you want stuck in your head all day.

A foreign film, but well worth the watch. Nice portrayal of bear culture, wonderful characters, and issues we can all relate to.

Bittersweet and absolutely amazing. I'm a hurt/comfort junkie who isn't at all disappointed with many scenes, but beyond that it is a powerful piece about rights and character.

Stephen Fry is amazing as Oscar Wilde. Even when you know the twists and turns in this clever, historical figure's life, you are spellbound watching them here. Plus, with Ioan Gruffudd and Jude Law, you can't possibly look away.

Each character finds his/her perfect mate in the combination of the other two. But it's harder to redefine the word family than they think it will be. I absolutely adore Michael Cunningham's storytelling style and though I prefer the book, this movie is a great adaptation with fine actors.

Realistic characters (with attitude, who don't sugarcoat anything!) who you really want to see make it.

This is the sort of independent film I'd make if I made films. It tries to be a little too intelligent for its own good, but the subject matter (a break-up after 3 years and a new love triangle) is fantastic and execution is brilliant.

Hugo Weaving in drag, ABBA music, a fabulous road trip, and a son being thrust into this world-- what could be better?

The very realistic, healthy relationship between a father and his gay son. Russell Crowe's great in this, and I'm not even a Crowe fan :-)
