	California Split Buy used from: $24.98 Definitely Gould's best role and performance in this Robert Altman film. One Amazon reviewer says that this DVD has the sometimes deleted 'piccolo player' scene.It's a hoot!!! Film has a couple of ugly scenes I wish WERE deleted. Race track/casino scenes are very atmospheric.
	The Long Goodbye Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $3.52 Another Altman film. Gould plays detective Marlowe(done best by Bogart and Mitchum). A highlight for me is the parking attendant's funny impression of Lloyd Bridges. A kick because it's irrelevant to the movie, just inserted for fun.
	Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $7.22 A clever satire.Gould's only Oscar nomination. This movie and MASH quickly made him such a star that he seemed to be in every second movie in the 70's.
	MAS*H (Widescreen Edition) Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $2.78 Still another Robert Altman film which inspired the TV series. I didn't like some of the attitudes of the film or the main characters, but it was a big hit.
	Getting Straight [VHS] Buy used from: $9.99 This movie followed his two breakthrough films, BCTA and MASH(above). The film is a fairly interesting drama,a bit juvenile, but Gould was still cool.
	Little Murders Buy used from: $39.95 A nasty bit of macabre humor. BUT worth viewing for the terrific satirical wedding presided over by an ultra-contemporary 'pastor'(Donald Sutherland).
	The Silent Partner Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $4.58 A top-notch thriller made in Canada. Check it out.
	Capricorn One Buy new: $7.99 / Used from: $2.18 A good conspiracy/mystery tale.
	Lady Vanishes [VHS] Buy used from: $10.00 Very inferior remake of the Hitchcock classic. WHY ON EARTH DID THEY DO THIS??? It wasn't totally awful but most reviews painted it as such because critics felt the same anger I did because the silly attempt was made. Cybil Shepherd is along for the train ride.
	I Love My Wife [VHS] Buy used from: $9.98 A not bad romantic comedy. Another, unavailable on video is called "I WILL, I WILL...FOR NOW". Another fairly interesting drama(also unavailable)is called INSIDE OUT.
	The Lemon Sisters Buy used from: $37.85 Not bad, as chickflicks go.
