This is a fantastic comedy about a clueless American, played by Bill Murray who is visiting his brother in Europe and getting mixed up in a complex spy/gangster plot, which he ends up solving by accident of course. Bill Murray relishes his role and is absolutely terrific. The film is brilliant, I enjoyed it so much and laughed in such a way it was simply therapeutic.

This is a terrific movie not just for its entertainment value, but it’s also great character and team building story about overcoming and personal change. Four Jamaican athletes go to the 1988 Winter Olympics to compete in a bobsled competition. These guys are very funny. They face a host of challenges, but in the end learn to overcome by being themselves and sticking to their values.

Charlie Chaplin's scene of working at an assembly line is one of the most classic and most hilarious of all time. It's a must see, not only for the humor, but also for its message of social criticism. Great show.
The Mad Adventures of Rabbi JacobThe Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob

This is a great comedy with Louis de Funes - a brilliant actor with tons of energy, skill and a whole repertoire of facial expressions. It's one of those funny, relaxing 70’s movies about identity mixups, car chases, good guys/bad guys, clueless police, as well as about overcoming racial and religious prejudices, etc. The bubble gum factory chase is priceless. It's in French.

This is one of my all time favorite comedies. If you like British comedies, you'll definitely like this one. Three old geezers hang out together and refuse to give up on life and just be old. Lots of clever dialogues and lines, great acting and heaps of fun.

What a great spoof on a bunch of different movies, mostly Star Wars and Star Trek, but also Planet of the Apes. Frankly, this is my favorite Star Wars episode. Flying RV, hairdryers, laser gun fights (although they could not hit the barn up close) are all greatly made fun of.

Another funny and entertaining movie with a plot involving a mix up of multiple identical travel bags. It involves car chases, gangsters, igneous rocks, stolen classified documents, golf clubs, petty hotel thieves, an about-to-go-crazy judge, and much more. It's funny and enjoyable 70's film if you'd like to have relaxing evening. Oh, and Barbara Streisand is the cause of all the troubles.

This is a Czech spaghetti Western with clever dialogues as well as with some very good social criticism of consumer society. The good guy, Joe lines up against the bad guys, the Badman brothers in the defense of the common good. But as it often goes in our Western world, the common good is where the money is, in which case we don’t mind tolerating the bad guys. Brilliant and funny.

This is such a classic film! Full of puns, clever dialogues, funny exchanges and great acting it is an enduring classic. It's perfect for a relaxing evening when you just want to enjoy some great entertainment.

James Belushi escapes from prison a couple of days before being released just to be able to go to the World Series. He gets his wish and more, but the trouble is trying to break back into prison so that he can be released on time. The movie has a clever plot, interesting plethora of characters and funny twists.
The Great Dictator (2 Disc Special Edition)The Great Dictator (2 Disc Special Edition)

Charlie Chaplin’s 2 hour feature is a brilliant movie. Filmed before US got involved in WWII and at a time when folks did not want to hear about the war or the holocaust, Chaplin’s depiction of events is both humorous and chilling. He took a courageous stance against Nazism and stood up for the Jewish people by breaking racial and religious barriers and stigma.
Shanghai NoonShanghai Noon

Jackie Chan's movies are typically pretty funny, but this one is really great. Jackie is one of the guards for the Chinese emperor, but when the princess gets kidnapped he finds himself in the Wild West chasing after her while, indians, the sheriff, and others are chasing after him. Funny and entertaining.
'Allo 'Allo! The Complete Collection'Allo 'Allo! The Complete Collection

Great comedy, this one making fun of the French, the Germans and the British themselves. Set in rural France during WWII, occupied by the Germans. Rene Artois is trying to run his pub and make a living while everyone around him is trying to help the resistance. This puts Rene in very uncomfortable situations over and over and yet he manages to get out of them, often with the help of Germans.
