One of my favorite books of all time, this is a story about a mute boy that ran away onto a ship. He is forever haunted by the ship and captain of the Flying Dutchman. Once off the ship with his trusty dog companion Ned, Ben regains his ability to speak. This is a wonderful book by Brian Jacques. Ben is a great character and every reader will love him. I recommend this book to everyone.

Even though it is not as long as some of the other books, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is an amazing book. Harry never gets a moment to breathe and the twist at the end could give anyone a heart attack. Any person that loves good endings will be in love with this book.

When reading this book, eight hundred and seventy pages seem like one hundred. J.K. Rowling captures your attention from cover to cover with no breaks in between. A book mainly for die-hard Harry Potter fans, but any ordinary person will love this book too.

Shakespeare says that every play should have violence, teenage sex, or supernatural creatures. In Mad Dogs, Robert Muchamore follows his lead. This book contains two of these three qualifications (I’m not going to specify which ones). Maybe the best of all of the Cherub books, you’re nose will be in the book until the very end.

Looking for Alaska is a very moving book where true love and friendship is shown. One of the best non-series books that I have ever read. An easy read, this book is perfect for any person with a heart.

In the first book of the first Spy High series, written by A.J. Butcher, Bond Team is introduced. All six members are teenagers that have shown extraordinary talents. This book really relates to young teens. Any teenager will enjoy this book and series greatly. (Read books 1-6)

James Bond as a kid. Can you picture it? It is a great start to the Young Bond series and has a very interesting adventure. The plot isn’t formed until about one hundred pages in, but a great book never the less.

Max Ride and her five friends are trying to live the life of regular kids, but they can’t. Any kid can relate to the lives of Max, Fang, Iggy, Gazzy, Angel, and Nudge. (Read books 1-4)

Danica Shardae is the soon to be queen of all the avians. They are at war with the serpents whose leader is Zane Cobriana. The only way to stop the war is to marry the two. Can the two civilizations live together? The book is filled with love, violence, and betrayal. A great beginning to the series. (Read books 1-6)

El Gato is the best soccer goalie in the world, but he wasn’t always that good. This book tells the story of El Gato and how he became what he is. This book is mainly directed towards soccer players, but it also talks about how we are ruining the environment so it would be good for ecologists too.

Peter, Susaun, Edmond, and Lucy are back once again into the magical lands of Narnia, except everything seems different. That’s because it has been one thousand years since they have been there. A great sequel to the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian is a very fun read

A lengthy book, it tells of the adventures of all different types of people, elves, dwarves, and humans. Along the same lines, any fan of the Lord of the Rings books or movies will like this book. It shows how different types of people can adapt to help each other in desperate times.

Josh Cameron is a superstar basketball player and has the life until one day a girl confronts him claiming to be his daughter. Miracle on 49th Street is a book about friendship, loyalty, and making your dreams come true. A truly terrific book.

The Golden Compass is a strange book which takes place in a different world. The world has better technology, but less knowledge of ordinary things such as dust. A great fantasy book that also sends an environmental message. It is a fun book to read.
