If you liked Goodfellas or The Usual Suspects, you will love this film. Great Yankee references and one heckuva powerful film. This is Robert DeNiro's directorial debut and he also added one of his quintessential powerfuf performances. Don't hesitate on this one. This is a must buy, must watch as soon as it comes out of the box movie.

Unforgettable Little League scene. We all love to pull for the underdog.

Just seeing Steve McQueen walking around with a baseball glove, clinging to all that is good and pure with the game while being held prisoner of war is reason enough to watch this remarkable film.

Okay, the scene at the baseball park has to be the funniest in the whole film. Rememer Enrigue Palazzo singing the National Anthem or how about the way Leslie Nielsen called balls and strikes. If you are still not sold, check it out to see OJ Simpson in his best pre-double homicide role.
