The Costumes and Castles are Fabulous if you can handle a few but highly graphic sex scenes. The story can hold its own even if you cut out all the sex. It's well done.

Another Soap Opera, but fun to watch. The costumes are hardly accurate... but creative. Henry VIII (28 June 1491 – 28 January 1547) was King of England and Lord of Ireland, later King of Ireland and claimant to the Kingdom of France, from 21 April 1509 until his death. Henry was the second monarch of the House of Tudor, succeeding his father, Henry VII.

Costumes are great and I love the banquet scenes (check out the table settings!). Lady Jane Grey, (1536/1537–12 February 1554), a grandniece of Henry VIII of England, was a claimant to the Kingdom of England and Kingdom of Ireland. Her claimed rule of nine days in July 1553 is the shortest rule of England in its history.

Black Adder - The Complete Collector's SetBlack Adder - The Complete Collector's Set

My favorite is the Elizabethan Era (Season 2) The first season is Medieval, the 2nd Elizabethan, 3rd is Prince Regent, 4th is WWI. There is also a Prince Charles Special and a Dicken's Christmas Special. If you buy the complete set it includes a modern day version with a time machine that runs amok. Lots of fun.
