It is one of his most accessible films, while still managing to remain refreshingly bizarre. It is the best melding of snake skin jackets, bad perms, and the Wizard of Oz I'v ever seen!

This movie, I will admit, is a tedious one to get through and probably not the best introduction to David Lynch's work. It is like wandering through someone else's nightmares.

Well, when it comes to this movie I think I have met my match. I am still not entirely sure how to feel after watching it, I am just torn between deep admiration and feeling sick. It is an unusual thing, a blood spattered metaphysical flick inspired by the director's near-death experience.

There is a lot of interesting visually imaginative anime out there, but Paprika stands out to me the most. The animation is gorgeous, story is at times a little lacking, but you will see some new and haunting images.

I think we sometimes forget how strange some of our favorite childhood cartoons were.
