I highly recommend this set of 3 films. Teshigahara worked with Kobo Abe on the scripting for these films and they form an amazing collaboration. The extra features are also expansive and have extra short films and many interviews.

I'm not usually a musical fan but I am a big fan of Happiness of Katakuris. A bizarre thriller/comedy/musical that has to be seen to be believed. I hope they re release the dvd so the price can come down some.
