- The Scopes Monkey Trial... a great event in American history, though I am sure there are those who would disagree. This movie is broadly based on that trial and well worth your time.

- Ah, Audrey Hepburn. What a great actress, in such a memorable role. Sadly, also memorable is Mickey Rooney's cringeworthy performance in the only real mistake in this otherwise excellent film.

- Really, this movie just defies description. It's not flawless, but it comes very, very close. Beautifuly filmed in the gorgeous deserts of the Middle East, wonderfully acted and absolutely subperb. The only problem is that the special edition DVD seems to have a flaw that causes it to freeze up and crash any DVD player I've tried it in. I've even tried multiple copies.

- TIE! Well, here we go. Peter Sellers' best film, one of Kubrick's best and George C Scott's second greatest performance. Hilarious, well-written and very entertaining!

- TIE! There's other Bond movies, but in this one, dare I say, nobody does it better? No, I don't dare say. Anyhow, there's a reason this is considered the blueprint for all the other Bond movies. Excellent and worth seeing!

- Steve McQueen and Candice Bergin might not be the A-list Hollywood couple, but the movie itself is incredibly well-done, earning Robert Wise his second movie on this list.
Bonnie and ClydeBonnie and Clyde

- Ah, the poetry of violence. This movie is amazing on almost every level. If you haven't seen it before, you'll be stunned by how modern it feels.

- The movie is excellent! As far as the musical goes, well, to steal a line from Roger Ebert, "As an investor, it's not appropriate for me to comment." Watch this film and see how far Mel Brooks has sunk since his glory days!
