this model is MUCH more comfortable than the classic model. great for new babies but pretty obsolete by 6 months and/or 20lb.

I've tried every brand, literally EVERY brand- these are magic. the straw like contraption prevents the baby from getting too much air while drinking reducing gas and shortening feeding time. (come with mini brush for cleaning attachments) there are 2 models: classic and wideneck; it's personal so go with the one that feels best in your hand, just don't waste your time with any other brand :o)

I actually have only used the aveno model which I like but this has 2 important features: auto shut off and it uses steam rather than direct heat which is supposed to be better. my personal preferred method (even with 2+ kids running around): stove-top.

this has GREAT ergonomic handles but for short trips an umbrella stroller may be all you need. whatever you decide to go with be sure you can open and close it with ONE hand while supporting a 20lb bag of groceries (later to be replaced with baby) in the other hand. also, cup-holders are handy.

(nevermind the picture or model) my FAVORITE highchair is the $30 ikea ANTILOP with optional/removable tray. it's all plastic and a cinch to clean, lightweight and the safety strap is very secure and easy to adjust.

babies love to pull bibs off which can be highly annoying. but these have to be pulled over the head to be removed... it's genious!!

I never used this style but I think it's even better. you can carry as many as you want AND when your baby is no longer on formula you can use it to carry snacks... I might get one for myself!!

as far as shoes on babies goes I'm in the barefoot camp. but these are great little slippers for babies learning to walk. socks will slip on wood floors but these add a little grip and, weather permitting, they can be used outdoors.

there are quite a few books on sleeping... this one is pretty popular.

this model is great because it has a strap (essential!!!) and it's non-porous so if, excuse me, WHEN the baby pees on it all you have to do is change the cover and wipe it off.

this is great because it has two positions. not sure if it can be plugged in, if not invest in A LOT of D batteries... you'll definitely need them. newborn-6mo

no waterfalls or babbling brooks or ocean waves... just wonderful white noise with adjustable volume that blocks out almost every sound. these are great!! a fan works just as well.

these are great and I prefer them to rocking chairs- but aesthetically rocking chairs hands down. the glider I used was really comfy but I wasn't a fan of the gliding footrest and I swapped it for a non moving footrest (medela)- it felt more stable and I had more control over speed.

receiving blankets work just as well and are 1/3 the cost but these have velcro and are just easier at 3am. babies usually only need to be swaddled for first 2 months or so (then they move onto sleepsacks).

after jr outgrows his swaddler... these are great little inventions that replace the need for blankets (there's controversy over babies under 12mo using blankets). they also come in long sleeve versions.

I used the swaddlebee AIO cloth diaper with the snaps which I really liked... however these have great reviews and they're one size fits all! if you decide to go cloth- go bumgenius or go home!!
