The bottle our breast-fed baby did best with, and we had to try a lot of different ones. The venting system is relatively easy to use and clean, and is effective. The bottle doesn't leak. The shape of the nipple has a nice roundness to it making it more similar to the breast than most others we tried.

We were reluctant to try, but now are now converts. Our son was 9 months old, sleeping through the night only 25% of the time & difficult to put to sleep. Within a week, he was only crying for a few minutes at bedtime AND consistently sleeping through the night. The longest he ever cried was 40 minutes, a lot shorter than we had feared.

Small enough for the bathroom counter. Essential for breastfeeding moms who are pumping and having to wash a million small pump parts without losing them. I've seen others say not strong enough to hold glass bottles, which I would believe, it is a bit on the delicate side, but worked very well for everything we used, which was plastic (BPA-free of course!) :)

We put this in our freezer to monitor the temperature level on all the frozen milk I worked so hard to collect and pack away. Gave me total peace of mind the one time we had a power outage, I was able to monitor the freezer and KNOW sure it never got too warm. Signal works from freezer in the garage to sensor in our kitchen just fine.

Nice compact size for one of these baby gym things. We eventually bought a larger one so he'd have room to roll over. But this was nice when he was very small, and would be a good design for packing up to travel with. The "tummy time" built in feature really doesn't work, so don't get it for that reason. The toys are cute that come with this, especially the little penguin that plays music.

More nice lightweight rattles a very young baby can hold. You can find these at Fred Meyer too. They are nice because they come in several different designs, with the same basic easy-to-hold rattle shape. We have at least four of these scattered around. Sassy brand toys in general seem to be very good ones for babies.

Great for teething. Would probably be even better if our baby was one who liked pacifiers. But he still likes to play with this and chew on it, especially when his teeth are coming in!

Look hysterical, sounds crazy. But if I didn't have this, I wouldn't have managed to pump breastmilk for going-on ten months. I didn't have this for the first month or so, and pumping was absolute torture without it. I seriously can't figure out how ANYONE pumps for any length of time without using this or something like it. A must for working mothers in my opinion.

Super interesting book, loved reading it, and I think it was helpful to us in learning how to relate to and connect with baby.

We didn't have these specific trays, but having ice cube trays with covers for the baby food has worked well for us, so we can stack them up in the freezer. Great for being able to do big batches all at once.

This is the larger gym we got when baby was starting to learn to roll over. Too expensive. Was a good toy, but the diameter of the poles was too small to work well with infantino dangly toys we had, so we had figure out ways to keep them from sliding off. Maybe fisher-price ones would be better?

Loved loved loved these stands. Had one upstairs and one downstairs. I suffered for two months dragging a stand up and down the stairs, it's lightweight enough to do, but it's hard with one hand (since baby will be permanently installed in the other hand).

Lived on granola bars for a couple months. Stock up on foods you can prepare and eat with one hand, and that are simple enough to figure out when you are sleep deprived. Make a shelf in your pantry just for your one-handed food.

If you don't already have a kitchen timer you love, get this one. Seems like we have to time tons of things now, not the least of which is breastpumping. Best timer I've found, easy to use, and has lots of useful features.

These are the bags we stored all my frozen milk in. They really are better than just using ziplocks, although they are more expensive. But after all that effort to pump that darn milk, I'm storing it the best possible way, dammit.

The pump I used. I liked that the pump came out of the bag, made it a lot easier when using it on my nightstand at home, not to mention at work. The bag it comes with is kind of a stupid design, as is the freezer pack. But the separate pump was worth it. Wish I could have just bough the pump separate from the kit, but they don't sell it that way.

Use these with the cube shelves above. Great for toys. Also as a hamper for dirty clothes since not much room in his closet. Baby loves to pull over the drawer and look to see what toys are inside. We divide up his toys among six or seven drawers, and we give him a different drawer each day, to help keep the toys newer and more interesting to him. Folds flat for storage which is handy.

One of the few mobiles you can find that has the pictures facing toward the crib, so the *baby* can see them. Duh!
