Buy new: $9.95 / Used from: $30.06 This unique book introduces new stitch patterns and techniques. It is very clearly written, and uses great projects to practice on. I have several that I will be using EXACTLY as written because they are so nice.

 | American Knitter's Round Knitting Loom Instructional How To Knit DVD
This was VERY helful to watch someone make several projects. There is even a needle knitting bonus video. This video does not teach flat knit or purl stitches, only basic e-wrap (twisted knit). But is well done and just the thing if you don't have anyone to show you how. But if you have made a hat and scarf, you're too advanced already for this DVD.

The beginners best purchase along with a set of Loom Clips. You can do larger projects than the round loom set, and also double knit in a variety of stitch formations. Yes, even tubes and hats. And using thinner yarns for a tighter stitch is possible.

Buy used from: $13.40 Ah! A book with a loom included. A smaller gauge round loom, similar to the KK round purple Adult Hat Loom. The book has lots of great techniques, and 30 beautiful patterns. There is even gorgeous yarn for a scarf. A bit limited on new stitches, but what they cover is well done and varied nicely. I use this loom for most hats for myself.
