Great German Shepherd Dog in this who uses his mind instead of his teeth to get his way.

Similar to The Pack, though not nearly as good. Dogs include German shepherds, both long and smooth coats, and Belgian Malinois and Tervurens. The best thing about The Breed was a wonderful special featurette showing how the dogs were trained for the film.

Cover shows a Rottweiler, but 'Max' is really a Tibetan Mastiff.

Great, well trained, Rottweiler, "Prince," in this one (also animatronics used). Trained by Roger Schumacher, who worked with Karl Lewis Miller on The Pack and was head trainer for Atomic Dog.

Despite the canine medley on the DVD cover, Wilderness’s only dogs are German Shepherds: A pack of four trained to attack and leave their victims according to a whistle, much like many herding dogs.

Rottweiler conveys a killer machine/dog through animatronics, CGI and a real dog named Zeus. Although the film is one to avoid, CGI and makeup over Zeus (including prosthetic teeth) make it interesting viewing for those fascinated by dogs in film. For anyone else; give it a wide birth.

A pair of Dobermans are working for the man, but still killers.

A lower budget precursor to The People Under the Stairs. Also with a Rott, though the dog gets much less screen-time than the one in TPUTS.

Possibly the worst dog horror film ever made. The Rottweilers in this one are hardly ever seen and never actually attack; there's just a rush of movement and people fall to the ground, screaming off camara.

Not sure if this is really considered a horror film. About corrupt prison guards using inmates as bait for their killer dogs. A.K.A. Tracked.
