This is a well-constructed movie, but it is promoted as a gay thriller. Well, the main sexual scenes are between a man and a woman, so its promotion is a tease. A gay thriller should be a gay thriller.

After having a series of gay one night stands, all one has to do is find the right woman and have sex with her to be saved. Barf!

Maybe it seemed like a good idea at the time, and one the studio heads loved, to have a gay man find love with a lesbian woman. Now it just seems insulting. This movie needs to be consigned to the dustbin of repressed homosexual history.

Two young Spanish guys, one gay, one straight. They fool around, but straight guy doesn't like to reciprocate. A somewhat older gay guy likes the younger one, but they don't get together either. At end, straight guy is flirting with a girl. Get it! Straight boy gets to get the girl, or have the opportunity to do so. Gay boy doesn't get to get anyone. I could just puke!

If you come from a good Italian family, porn star is not a respectable choice for a profession. And the courts probably won't let you adopt a child. And one might wonder why anyone would bother to make a movie about this sort of nonsense.

If you're a gay porn movie assistant, and you get drafted to fellate the straight, gay-for-pay star of the films to get him ready for his scenes, you are likely going to have a problem with both self-respect and self-esteem. Go figure!

Set in Australia, with the beautiful Alex Dimitriades, this could have been a terrific movie. Instead, it's just another self-hating gay movie that enjoys degrading its main character and having him end up unhappy, and it's made by a woman director who probably hates men.

Slow, dragging, talky & dreary, this movie falls into all the trap of being another sterile look at the life of a not-very-bright hustler.

Moviemakers love the cliche of the vicious homosexual killer who preys on boys and young men. Don't feed the stereotype; don't buy these films.

No-one excelled at the self-hating homosexual movie--and in real life, too--more than Fassbinder. He plays the character, Fox, he denigrates and humiliates. Anyone who has viewed his films will not be surprised that Fassbinder finally killed himself.

This movie is sick and not in an interesting way. You don't want to watch it.
