Okay, no Connery, but George Lazenby is pretty good in his one and only Bond film. And no way you're telling me Dianna Riggs isn't one of--if not THE--top Bond Girls, with probably the best story in the whole franchise. And, even if you don't agree (how could you!) there's about a dozen other beautiful gals to gaggle out. And the story's cool too.

The original, when Bond was Bond--gritty, rough and tumble. Punching chicks, shooting guys in the back--well, maybe not THAT rough and tumble, but he sure wasn't sittin' round sipping martinis. Connery is cool & intimidating, the story has a freaky psychological vibe, and while missing a few gadgets and cliches of later Bonds, a cool psychedelic credit sequence makes up for it.

Daniel Craig is the man! And Eva Green is va va wow! (And Judi Dench, circle takes the square!) Props to actors and crew for taking a chance, and keeping Bond fresh and invigorated. And who couldn't watch that opening crazy-jump-run sequence--one of the greatest in the endless legendary Bond parade of cool stunt sequences. Jump! Slam! Fall! Crash! Run! Repeat!

One of the hottest bikini Bond Girls ever, and she spends most of the time running around in said suit--running up a volcano! That alone is geee-nious. But add an ever-cool Connery and an ethereal theme song by Nancy Sinatra...but seriously--the girl's in a bikini running up a volcano!

Now, conversely, this is the one I think is silly. So I put it up higher to make up for putting "Die Another Day" so high. (I don't care, I still think it's great!)

For that opening stunt of the dude skying off the side of a cliff. (Actually, this should be higher than "Diamonds Are Forever," probably. I mean, really--the guy skied off a cliff! If it had been a bikini girl skying off the side of a volcano, maybe...)

Hey, there's a bunch of guys fighting underwater. Better call James Bond. Oh, there he is. Whew, close.

Bond puts the funk in British spyin' down in Harlem in Roger Moore's first of a whole bunch of martini-swiggin' Bondage. A younger-than-young Jane Seymour reads your future, and no matter what she says--you likes! Add a you-gotta-it-to-believe-it jog over 5 cranky gators, and probably the best ever Bond Theme Song courtesy of Sir Paul McCartney and Wings, and it's bouncin' Bond on the bayou!

Some hot karate action. Or kung fu. Or tae- kawn-howdoya-do. Whatever it is, it's cool.
