A documentary about ancient Egypt which provides a great deal of information in it's second half about the actual Egyptian peoples lives. It also has quite a bit of information about beliefs and other monuments and historical sites in Egypt.

A wonderful documentary on North African dances both oriental and Berber (Amazigh). The video clips were filmed between 1973 and 1982 so they are not the highest quality but do offer substantial visual images of actual dances from Morocco and Tunisia

An instructional video on how to dance Tunisian style. It offers some insight into Tunisian dances and gives solid foundation for performing it yourself. Also has several Tunisian style performances by Aisha Ali demonstrating the moves learned.

This is an excellent documentry on the trail of the Romani people which is explored through music and dance. This is available on DVD but not for Region 1 (USA). May be able to watch on youtube as well.
