![]() | Glory
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $2.81 A stand-out movie about the first African American unit to serve in the Civil War - the 54th Massachusetts. It features outstanding performances by Denzell Washington (who won his first Academy Award for this role) and Morgan Freeman. The scene where Denzell Washington is whipped for an infraction is chilling. He does not utter a sound but his face and demeanor speak volumes.
