I found the Audyssey 2EQ automatic calibration to be a breeze to setup. The best part for me is to be able to hookup my Oppo 981HD DVD player and the Dish HD receiver via the 2 HDMI inputs that this receiver provides.

Buy used from: $279.99 Amazing!!! is what I can say. I got the PS3 primarily as Blu-ray player and all other features are a bonus for me :-). Has very good picture and audio quality and comes equipped with HDMI 1.3 (so can be used for newer audio formats like DTS HD etc). Earlier I had bought the Sony BDP-S300 as a standalone player but the PS3 trumps it or any other stand alone player.

Buy used from: $250.00 A very good option for a small-medium sized HT setup. If you are looking for a setup to use in a bigger room, then better go for regular floorstanding box sepeakers. The sound from this system is great once calibrated thru the Avia DVD and the sound meter. The subwoofer is able to produce quality bass and gives you a feel of being "in" the movie that you are watching.

Buy used from: $299.00 Great upconverting DVD player at a good price... has the ability to upconvert upto 1080p and produces a great picture. I'd say its the best 1080p DVD player out there in the market as of this review. Best option is to connect this to the receiver via HDMI and forget about any other cables.

Good value-priced antenna to receive SD and HD OTA broadcats. I just use this to receive around 6-8 OTA HD channels in my local area and this is able to produce great results. But due to its inherent limitation, this may end up producing ghosting when its clouded or severe weather. Still don't buy the TERK antenna.

Buy new: $3.51 When you have all components that are HDMI compatible then the best option is to use HDMI connections throughout. I got these HDMI cables from MonoPrice.com for less than 6 bucks each and they work beautifully. No need to spend 100's on HDMI cables from Monster or your local store, these are just as good.

Buy new: $29.56 This is a bit bigger than it seems in the picture. Still most of this mount is hidden when installed on your TV, so no worries. I use it to mount my TSS 1100 center speaker which leaves quite some space free on the mount. The good part is, that this can even be used to put your DVD player on it.
