My girls spend time avery day "cooking" on this. The youngest started to independently play with this at about 18 months. Older neighbors -- buys and girls also enjoy pretending.

This gets pushed around the house a lot -- sometimes with a doll in it, but often with a basketball.

Balls and balloons get played with on a daily bais both inside and outside. My #2 loves balls more than anything and would sleep with them if we let her.

Any brand magnetic sketcher will do. We have two big ones and two small ones which are great for bringing along while travelling.

Our girls were able to pedal a tricycle by about age two and love tooling around.

Dalmation Press coloring books cost about $1 at Wal Mart. The puppies, kitten, horses and princesses versions are popular in our house. I have some extra on hand for when the ones I have out get filled up or when friends are over. Use washable crayons (I learned the hard way!)

We have a set of Super Slueths DVDs and one episode a day before bed keeps the girls happy. Darby is an improvement over princesses (in my opinion).

The hobby horse we have gets ridden all over and also sometimes is used as a play mop for cleaning up pretend messes.

Our two year old still loves this. She has learned the Spanish from the phone -- but probably has no idea what it means.
