Laurent pretends a relationship with his friend Carole in front of his family, but everything seems to crash after he meets Cedric. Cedric is comfortable with his sexuality and not willing to live a life full of lies - not even for Laurent. Laurent does not want to lose his family, but even more he does not want to be without the love of Cedric.

This film is a romantic comedy with good acting, using some gay stereo types, but what would a gay movie be without them. I find that the movie should have focused a little more on the sexual incompatibility of the couple to be more realistic, however – overall this is a great and entertaining movie, with a visual chemistry between all actors.

As the author of the novel and film, Q. Allan Brocka did a good job. The movie plays in Seattle, and reports of a male escort that is in love with his friend while making a living. The dialog is funny while romantic, entertaining, and matter of fact. It’s a modern story with a great cast. The film shows the emotional growth of the lead character, while developing friendships that finally last.

A simple gay melodrama - nothing great and nothing too bad: Gay artist falls in love with a married 'straight' guy. His roommate, HIV+ Shannon is hoping for gender reassignment surgery, and Kryla seems desperate and somewhat bitter. The film shows straight and gay sex scenes and is overall saying that no one is perfect.

This small budget Indi film has its moments and soap opera acting, but it is well written – although the story is a bit out of fantasia. It is love story and definitely has great intentions. However - the sex scenes are probably the best part of the movie. This film is something to enjoy without picking it apart.

Sun kissed may be somewhat bizarre for some viewers, but if you watch it with an open mind and just enjoy this low budget film you may be able to read between the lines, and get your own private meaning of the story. I found the ‘love over loneliness’ relationship rather philosophically inspiring and meditative. It is not important that the movie is not reality TV.

Broken Sky is a long movie with minimal dialog but lots of sex. It received very diverse reviews. The set is either in a room, on campus, or in a club, and the story is not a conventional romance. The film is about confusion, longing, jealousy, pain, thrills and excitement. The leads are two students that never seem to feel the same thing at the same time, in the same way, or to the same degree.
