As the US series progresses, it grows into something even greater than the UK original, as it plumbs the depths of hilarious office situations...

While the quirky supporting characters Buster, Gob, Tobias and Barry will keep most discerning viewers entertained, those who find it almost impossible to laugh are GUARANTEED to crack a smile at the chemistry between the three leads, Michael, his son George-Michael (!) and family patriarch George.

Now for the dramas- and this is the best of them. Various Baltimore drug gangs are dismantled by the city's most talented police. Some of the good guys aren't so good. Some of the bad guys aint so bad... Complex, intricate, dramatic, humerous. It's the Sopranos with more characters to give a damn about.

Anybody will tell you...this is for the whole family. Even those who shy away from popular entertainment. Series 4 through 6 are especially addictive.

I was in the DVD store one day all out of options. I asked a guy standing nearby "hey man, do you know of a really good show - an intelligent, original, high quality show...?" I told him I'd seen all the above. He said, "try Nip/Tuck". I said, "Nip/Tuck...are you serious? Isn't that just crap like Desperate Housewives?" And he said, "Nah man. Nip/Tuck all the way..." And he was right.
