	Rio Bravo (Two-Disc Special Edition) Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $4.73 To my mind, one of the two greatest Westerns(along with SHANE.) Great cast, drama, humor and a good story. The claustrophobic jail sequence with the music of Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson and Walter Brennan is one of my all-time fave scenes.
	To Have and Have Not (Keepcase) Buy new: $5.79 / Used from: $4.99 I actually prefer the Bogart-Bacall relationship here to Bogart-Bergman in CASABLANCA. Charming, electric scenes between them. Believe it or not....Andy Williams' voice is dubbed for that of Lauren Bacall's singing!
	The Big Sleep Buy new: $5.79 / Used from: $5.20 Terrific Bogart vehicle but a mess. To this day nobody understands the story, including its writers! Full of very entertaining scenes though.
	Red River Buy new: $11.99 / Used from: $4.81 Most critics rank this among the top 5 or 10 Westerns. Have to agree. John Wayne again, this time not a good guy. Montgomery Clift made a big impression.
	The Dawn Patrol Buy used from: $5.78 I'm not a lover of war movies, but this one I enjoyed, partly because of one of my favorite stars, Errol Flynn.
	Viva Villa [VHS] Buy used from: $18.00 Bioflick of Mexican icon Pancho Villa. Strong Oscar-nominated performance by Wallace Beery.
	Hatari! Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $3.57 Pretty good John Wayne vehicle, set in Africa!
	Only Angels Have Wings Buy new: $14.94 / Used from: $5.79 Pretty good war movie drama, starring Cary Grant.
	Sergeant York (Two-Disc Special Edition) Buy new: $8.66 / Used from: $20.27 Very patriotic war film starring Gary Cooper.
	Monkey Business Buy new: $11.99 / Used from: $6.92 This and the 3 which follow were very popular 'screwball' comedies. I find them silly and unamusing, but in a list of Hawks' successes, they can't be omitted.
	Bringing Up Baby (Two-Disc Special Edition) Buy new: $8.66 / Used from: $20.70
	His Girl Friday Buy new: $4.98 / Used from: $2.28
	Twentieth Century Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $6.15 Another screwball comedy.
	Scarface (Universal Cinema Classics) Buy new: $11.99 / Used from: $6.30 The original. As famous as the Pacino remake, at one time (1932).
	Ball of Fire Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $9.21 Saw it long ago, remember little. But it has a generally favorible rep, usually 3 stars in the TV guide!
	Outlaw, The Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $1.97 Jane Russell created controversy with her buxom sexuality in this western, thanks somewhat to the influence of Howard Hughes.
	El Dorado Buy used from: $4.78 This was Hawks' totally inferior and unnecessary remake of the above classic RIO BRAVO. WHY?????? And so soon after. The self-inflicted blasphemy is baffling and actually makes me angry.
