The light is soft enough not to arouse my 9MO but I can see to change his diaper in the middle of the night. It turns off by itself after about 10 minutes.

The other ones were fuzzy or had issues locating frequency. We live in a 2 story house and this one works great for us. AND, you can't beat the price.

When he broke the second one we didn't replace it. But come to think of it... we have a 9 MO now that would probably love one!
