A welcome and unexpected return to form for the guys from Athens, GA. Smart...straight ahead...Excellent!

Jennifer and Kristian keep up their high quality work and put out another fun, appealing album. The deluxe fan edition is absolutely worth the extra songs!

This album is a sort of departure for Mr. "Gwineth" and his band. They have some new sounds (courtesy of Brian Eno) which have resulted in a less formulaic record.

This powerhouse husband/wife team release a soulful and warm country/folk album. These Aussies are like a modern, international Johnny & June or George & Tammy.

This is a throwback record. It's new but it sounds like it could have come out of San Francisco in the late 60's or early 70's (think America or CSN). Lots of harmonies, tambourine, and catchy folk-pop tunes galore! A pleasure to listen to.

The rhythm is gonna get ya...this is basically acoustic guitars, drums and vocals, but it is fascinating and at times glorious.

Layered harmonies and orchestral, organic textures make this an appealing album. There's a melancholy here that was not on their exuberant debut album, but their odd melodies (floating, driving, plucking, soothing) beg for repeated listens.

Another solid record from this North Carolina chanteuse. If this is what a year in Paris brings...then I say 'Vive le France'!

I love Sam. Her songs and lyrics are so personal that they exude heartache. She easily paints an achingly sad picture with the masterful skill of minimalism.
