The first half of this book about how the author made his fortune is pretty dry. The second part about his plans for wind energy and natural gas cars is more interesting. The book seems self-serving in many ways - he goes into great detail about how he gave hundreds of millions of dollars to the athletic dept of his alma mater, Oklahoma State University.

Although I found this in the children's section of the library I really enjoyed it. It's a breezy, engaging and cleverly written murder mystery.

I was inspired by the Swine Flu outbreak to read this. Having seen the movie twice in childhood I was left feeling that the I was missing most of the details. The book provided answers to all the mysteries the movie left hanging. This is a thoroughly enjoyable piece of contemporary sci-fi even 40 years after it was written.
