Awesome 1990s Australian family TV series that taught respect for the environment. Filmed on location in Northern Queensland, the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, the story revolves around Neri, a mysterious girl who lives on a deserted island and can talk with a humpback whale named Jali.

For me, this was the last *good* season of Forever Knight that featured Jannette and Schanke (both were effectively written out of the third and final season). Deeper storylines and improved effects.

Due South was a Canadian series filmed in Toronto (set in Chicago) that followed the misadventures of Royal Canadian Mounted Police Constable Benton Frasier. It featured witty writing, a great Canadian soundtrack, and strong storylines.

Virtually resurrected from the dead for Season 3 (the sets were in the process of being destroyed), the final season of Due South was its darkest and grittiest. Paul Gross became director, producer, and star. David Marciano was replaced by Callum Keith Rennie.

I still remember watching this on HBO as a kid! Fraggle Rock featured gentle storylines, cute characters, and plenty of song and dance.
