Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $2.93 Dovetails fairly seamlessly onto the end of the first movie, this one goes further into the universe Barker created and explores the mythos surrounding the world a little bit more. Definately essential if you like the first.

 | Hellraiser III - Hell on Earth
Buy used from: $19.95 A lot of people dismiss the third Hellraiser, saying that it tries to be too much like the other slasher films of the time and has lost that cerebral edge that marked the first two movies. I can easily understand their view, but given the context of the movie, the more evil, active Pinhead is understandable. Essential if you're captivated by the main Cenobite and want to know more about him.

Buy new: $9.49 / Used from: $3.39 Again, a lot of people dismiss this entry as Pinhead in space. But I found the story to be engaging, perhaps even heightened slightly by the sci-fi element. At it's core is the story behind the puzzle box that releases the Cenobites, and a facinating story it is. Essential.

Buy new: $9.99 / Used from: $3.68 After a non-Hellraiser Hellraiser in Inferno, the series gets back on track with the last essential movie Hellseeker. Back is Kirsty Cotten from Hellraisers I and II but with a twist!!! Essential as it continues/concludes the story from parts I and II.

Buy new: $13.49 / Used from: $5.63 Film noir masqerading as a Hellraiser movie. I was on the fence about this one, but finally decided that it was just too out there to be considered a good Hellraiser movie. The ending was predicable, and it just didn't have the true Hellraiser feel to it, exactly.

Buy new: $26.99 / Used from: $8.85 Avoid this one! Besides the weakest ending (which looks in part to have been copied from the first movie) of the series, I'm still not sure what exactly the Merchant descendant was trying to accomplish with his army of, what, zombies? There was male full frontal nudity as well, although brief, if you have qualms about that kind of thing you are forewarned.
