Show & TellShow & Tell by Silvertide
Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $0.24
I had never heard of Silvertide until I heard them open for Def Leppard until I saw them open for Def Leppard at Loopfest in Chicago.  You could say I was more than just a little surprised.
Permission to LandPermission to Land by The Darkness
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $0.35
First album from this eccentric British rock band.  When it's all said and done, these guys will be remembered with the likes of Van Halen, Guns n' Roses, the Crue, etc.  They are pure rock n' roll.
One Way Ticket to Hell...And BackOne Way Ticket to Hell...And Back by The Darkness
Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $0.75
Their sophomore album, and it does not disappoint.  With former Queen produce Roy Thomas Baker on board, you can hear the Queen-ish tendencies. (Which is why I would rate their first a little higher)
Get ThisGet This by Hurricane Party
Buy new: $7.98 / Used from: $2.00
All I can say is, Wow!  We need more bands like this these days.  Think late 70s or 80s rock.  Can't wait for a full album.
Vicious CycleVicious Cycle by Lynyrd Skynyrd
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $4.11
2000 release from these "street survivors."  It is amazing how well this band continues to perform with all they've been through.  Thank god for Jonnie Van Zant. This is just straight-up ageless rock.
GenerationsGenerations by Journey
Buy used from: $3.74
Journey's best album in I don't know how long, and by far the best with Steve Augeri at the mic.  Combines classic journey sounds with great sounding new rockers and ballads.
RecollectionRecollection by Creedence Clearwater Revisited
Buy new: $17.99 / Used from: $0.74
WHile not exactly new, I thought I'd include this as long as they have a somewhat-new name (Revival to Revistited).  Amazing job of getting a band put together that sounds nearly identical to Revival.
Into the NowInto the Now by Tesla
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $1.99
Perhaps the second most underrated band to come out of the 80s, (look up Hardline) this band puts it together to come out with a classic yet modern rock sound.
American IdiotAmerican Idiot by Green Day
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $2.99
Everything about me wants to hate this band.  I hate their views.  I hate their gay emo appearance.  I hate that EVERYONE loves them... However, I can't deny the fact that they make some good music.
Mouthful of LoveMouthful of Love by Young Heart Attack
Buy new: $11.98 / Used from: $0.73
Brand new band from Texas.  If you like high energy and blaring vocals, this is your band.  They could try to be a little more original however (just listen to Starlite and youll know what I mean).
Get BornGet Born by JET
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $0.33
Great classic rock sound.  It's unfortunate that one of their songs has already been ruined by being played a jillion times a day.
The Great DivideThe Great Divide by Scott Stapp
Buy new: $6.99 / Used from: $0.40
Creed fans, eat your hearts out.  This album kicks Alter Bridge's ass all the way back to the 90s.
Leave a WhisperLeave a Whisper by Shinedown
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $6.96
It seems the only thing that keeps people away from them is the popularity or their religious tendencies. I can get past the popularity issue, and I love that they don't hide their Christianity.
Us and ThemUs and Them by Shinedown
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $7.15
This is a great follow-up album.  It is not any worse or any better, it is just as equally great as last.
Out of ExileOut of Exile by Audioslave
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $1.14
I never thought I would find myself liking these guys, but this album did it.
In Your HonorIn Your Honor by Foo Fighters
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $1.99
Not their best stuff, but if you're a Foo fan, this is definitely worth buying.
Away From The SunAway From The Sun by 3 Doors Down
Buy new: $10.97 / Used from: $1.97
These guys just continue to produce quality albums.
Seventeen DaysSeventeen Days by 3 Doors Down
Buy new: $13.98 / Used from: $2.00
Again, they just seem to get better with every release.
LifehouseLifehouse by Lifehouse
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $1.20
Let it be known that this band is not a one-hit wonder.  A highly underrated album.
EclipticaEcliptica by Sonata Arctica
Buy used from: $12.99
I know it's a little out of place, but I just had to get this unbelievable album in from Finland's top metal band.
OctavariumOctavarium by Dream Theater
Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $4.34
Another slightly misplaced CD, but God is this band amazing!  If you've never heard of them yet you better do some studyin.
Have a Nice DayHave a Nice Day by Bon Jovi
Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $2.92
Just another great release from this timeless New Jersey group.
YouthYouth by Collective Soul
Buy new: $15.98 / Used from: $3.45
One of those bands without a huge name, but they've got huge songs. I bought the greatest hits only knowing 3 songs, but it turned out I had heard nearly every one not knowing it was them.
Tommyland: The RideTommyland: The Ride by Tommy Lee
Buy used from: $0.41
Say what you want about him, but this album flat-out rocks.
SupagroupSupagroup by Supagroup
Buy new: $12.98 / Used from: $1.12
The next AC/DC? Some would have you believe that, but I don't.  Whether they are or not, they know how to rock out with their [you know] out.
