My favorite of Bass & Rankin's three original Easter specials (the others being Here Comes Peter Cottontail, done in Animagic like this one, and The First Easter Rabbit in traditional animation).

Streisand's fantastic in this remake, as is Walter Matthau. (And look for a young Michael Crawford, from Phantom of the Opera fame.) Costumes & songs match the great cast.

TV mini-series of Agatha Christie's as "Partners in Crime" collection, with sleuthing spouses Tommy & Tuppence Beresford. (I was beginning to wonder if this second half would ever see a release!)

Anyone from the South, especially Texas, will appreciate the strange humor of Greater Tuna. This is a live taping of the stage play, though I'd also really love to have the old HBO special. Hilarious!

A television series I watched for many, many hours in the 80s & 90s. Glad to see it's finally come to DVD!

Cheesy but classic 70s (wait, was that redundant?) vampire flick for those who "love the nightlife."

Another much-watched and much-loved tv show. There's lotsa room for improvement in the release package, but still... Thumbs up for Sam & Al!

Musical with Julie Andrews, Mary Tyler Moore, & Carol Channing, all decked out as flappers in the Roaring Twenties.

Alan Rickman's directorial debut stars Emma Thompson with real-life mom, Phyllida Law, and Sean Biggerstaff. My only complaint: a lack of English subtitles to help cut through the thick Scot accents!
