Product Description

Marine Corps units were among the first military units rushed to the Korean peninsula when war first broke out…and they were the last to leave. From the desperate battle to hold the Pusan perimeter to Inchon, from the recapture of Seoul to the march up the peninsula to the Yalu, Marine Units were there. This is the story of uncommon valor: the story of the few, the proud, the brave – the Marines. Semper Fi!

......."YOU'LL BE SOORREE"........5
Do you want to see real good footage of the Korean War??...then, listen up...for the record, I have never seen comprehensive combat footage of the successful Inchon amphibious invasion of Inchon or the liberation of Seoul shortly thereafter...and this DVD shows it all...complete film coverage of the gallant 1st Marine Division FMF in action through this combat coverage...I am no stranger to my war in Korea...I had 2 tours of duty in that WAR as a Marine combat tank commander...all the USMC tanks one sees from the start are from "A" Company 1st Tank Bn FMF...which neutralized the enemy bastion of Wolmi-Do island...after the tenacious street to street combat to secure the city of Seoul...the 1st USMC Tank Bn consisted of: A-B-C-D tank companies...I served later with alot of these tankers who were in on the Inchon invasion...this DVD shows everything that broke the back of the Communist North Korean Armies trapped south of Seoul...Gen Douglas MacArthur pleaded and got his wish for the 1st Marine Division FMF for this momentous/bold stroke to turn the tide of UN offensive action for the first time then in the early autumn of 1950...great clarity of film on this DVD...wonderful for Americans, who mostly don't know or care about the forgotten victory in Korea...victory, of course, just look what South Korea is today in a short 50 years into the modern world of industrial nations fashioned by USA duplicity in all aspects of modern life, that is our "forgotten victory" in Korea...South Korea is our staunchest ally in the Far East...this combat footage shows the price of such a future we forged out for all of South Korea...it took our bloody hides, but it paid off for all of our valorous endeavors to give a future to a country which was totally oppressed from time immemorial...I think the world of these US Marines who knocked off the isle of Wolmi-Do in 45 minutes to pave the way to storming the seawall and into Inchon proper with alacrity as the film shows...there is a color DVD transfer, but I have yet to feast my eyes on it...watch for the tank A-44 caving in North Korean gun positons that wouldn't surrender...it was an honor to serve on this Dozer with driver, Marine Sgt Burke [ from Colorado] one of the best Marine tankers I served with...again, Marines secured Wolmi-do in 45 minutes...yes, "You'll Be Soorree" is the eternal epitah of all of all of us who served valiantly in the bloody Korean WAR...hear that Harry Truman??...it was a WAR!!...Truman conned the American people with..."Nothing to worry about, folks...just a two-bit police-action"...yeah sure, Harry!!....Semper Fi, Mac......SSGT CHRIS SARNO-USMC FMF
