Customer Reviews
Great watch, a little heavy on the wrist, and scratches....
I love fossily watches. My only beef with fossil is that all of their metal watches are heavy like bricks. The downside with this particular model is the quartz that covers the face. The cover bows out like a contact lens. This causes the watch lens to scratch if you lay it down on its face frequently.
If you're careful, this won't be a problem - but it's too late for me. :-(
After 9 years - this Watch is Great
I had a Fossil watch almost exactly like this for 9 years and it ran like a champ. I wore it every day - and there was only a little wear on it (the lense had a few scratches and on the sides the finish had worn down just a bit). A great watch - and I prefer the heavy weight. My son decided to try and open it by dropping it a bunch of times. He didn't open it - but it did finally die. A good watch if you want one that lasts.
Several Problems
I bought this watch before I started college in the fall of 2008. I bought it in early August, and by January, I had to send it back to Fossil because the minute hand was loose inside the face of the watch. It took them two months to get it back to me. In April, it just stopped working. I thought it was the battery, so I had it tested. It wasn't. It was a problem with the watch. So in less than a year the watch had two problems and apparently died on me. I sent it back to Fossil for the second time last week and I'm currently waiting on them to return it. I asked for a new watch and I hope to get one. I liked the way the watch looked and fit, but it just did not consistently work.
