Geena's heart started to pound wildly. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen. The ball was supposed to stay on the Meteor's side of the field. But the Meteor's center attacker dribbled straight for the Stars' goal.

Keep your eye on the ball, she told herself. She bent her knees and tried to stay calm. She was so nervous her knees were quivering.

Playing goalkeeper always made her uptight. But today was worse than usual. Geena knew that each time the Meteors shot on goal, everyone -- the ref, Marina, all the parents -- would be watching her. What if someone noticed her cast? As if keeping the ball out of the goal wasn't enough to worry about.

The attacker kept coming as steadily as an express train. This is bad, Geena thought. Very, very bad.

Soccer rules!
We love soccer, so we really enjoy this series of books. There are usually some ethical questions involved in the story, and we like to see how the problems are resolved. This story involves whether it is fair game to hide the truth about using a certain player on the field. Read this book and see what you think!
