About FreeStyle
With the extremist in mind, FreeStyle has created an extensive collection of innovative performance watches that will go with you to the edge and back--whether you're surfing, skiing, biking, or hiking. Established in 1981, Freestyle Watches was the brainchild of a couple of Surfers whose mission was to create a watch line that could withstand the abusive conditions of their beach lifestyle. Their experience told them very few watches on the market could stand up to the daily abuse of salt water and sand. The result was The Shark Freestyle watch, a lightweight, low profile, and extremely durable timepiece that was immediately demanded by athletes all over the world.
Freestyle Brand
History Freestyle was the first surf watch brand in the US. Since 1981, Freestyle has been making durable, dependable, stylish watches all built to withstand the abuses of the high-intensity, rider lifestyle, both in and out of the water. It is an authentic, credible action sports brand with roots in surf and founded on performance, providing stylish performance timepieces with enduring quality and durability, while maintaining competitive, affordable pricing. Freestyle Watches Feature:
Twenty-eight years ago, a couple of surfers turned a simple observation into a cultural icon. Nowhere could they find a watch that would withstand the abusive conditions of their lifestyle, and the damaging effect of salt water and sand. Necessity being the mother of invention, Freestyle was born. Freestyle has since evolved into a diverse collection of watches ranging from the iconic Shark watch to athlete designed signature time pieces.
Customer Reviews
Great Product, Great Company
I swim a lot and needed a water proof watch, this one is great. I needed something else for the watch from the co. and they delivered free and fast. Very happy.
No frills, but great at what it does
Purchased this from a sale from R.E.I. outdoor adventure store. It does not have any fancy buttons or digital features. It's just a solid, waterproof watch that is incredibly simple and easy to adjust the time. Nothing more, nothing less. Comfortable on my wrist and like the look.
Minor problem but otherwise works as advertised
I wanted a watch to wear while swimming in our backyard pool. Although somewhat skeptical, I took a chance on this one. It has kept time perfectly over the past few months. However, the part of the band that holds down the excess amount of strap beyond the buckle came off within a couple of weeks. This leaves about two inches of band extending out away from my wrist. Once I am positive I won't be needing the excess for any further adjustments, I will simply cut it off. I would recommend this watch with the concern that there could be further problems with the band.
