Darren is one of the founders of b5media, a blog network with hundreds of blogs across numerous different verticals, including business, sport, entertainment, style and beauty, and technology. Darren’s role at b5media is VP of Blogger Training. Darren lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife Vanessa, son Xavier, and soon-to-be-born baby. Chris Garrett is a writer, Internet marketing consultant, and, of course, professional blogger. Covers the bases. Excellent
I am relatively new to blogging but have spent time and money looking to offer some quality blogs. I was looking forward to reading Darren and Chris' book as I had gleaned alot of information from their websites. I was not let down with this book. The information is concise and 95% was very relevant to a new blogger (the blog selling chapter won't be needed...yet). Thanks guys for a great resource that shows your experience in the field and lays out easy steps to establishing a long-term blogging career.

Excellent resource
for people who want to start a blog. Has good detailed information for someone with more technical skills, but easy to read for those with less technical knowledge. Definitely worth the price.

Well-written but mostly covers the basics
A great book and I was already a big fan of Darren Rowse and his blog. He is a very successful pro blogger, a fine example to follow and learn from and having the 2 perspectives - different backgrounds, both end up at pro blogging and both very successful - is very effective. The book is easy to follow, written for anyone who even hasn't the basics of technology down, and has a reasonably good flow. I just wish it covered the tricks of the trade in much more depth, with examples, case studies, personal experience, and tips that you do not find anywhere else. It was a bit general for me. I am still glad I read it.
