Customer Reviews
Very nice.
I bought this computer table for my mother. I had a horrible experience with another computer table that had "easy assembly". I was looking for something durable and absolutely no assembly. This table fit the bill. It is perfect for what she uses it for and needless to say, a breeze to put up. It is nice looking and certainly functional. She's very happy with it.
This goes everywhere I go
I bought this table back in the day and have used it ever since for 11 years. It cost 1/3 the price back in those days. I even bought another one for my mother. My friend has two setup for one on one gaming. Easy to move this as it folds up and is fairly light. No massive mahogany desk to haul around with you. That is great when your young and going to be moving around a lot.
The keyboard shelf that folds down or up (to make a full table) is the best feature. I have searched for another idea like that and haven't found it yet. Puts the keyboard in a perfect spot for typing, unlike work computer desks which place the keyboard too high. No carpel tunnel yet. I don't like keyboard sliding drawers on some tables due to the fact they move a lot when your typing. The shelf on this table is rock solid when your typing. It actually takes a lot of effort to move which imo is a good thing.
After 11 years with 8 of those having a heavy CRT sitting on it, it has sagged in the middle. the top edge in a couple of places has warped slightly were water got into the MDF. This is after condensation from a cold drink sat all night. Barely noticeable and in 11 years and 3-4 moves the table looks in great shape.
I'd say the best thing is that it is open so it's easy to run cables and change cables. Also easy to clean under. With my old full computer desk that was a pain and I'll always use a computer table from now on.
I would like to get a new computer table/desk with a little nicer look, but it's hard to find one as utilitarian as this.
