Jon makes it so easy to get started-and starting is the KEY. Everyone has 10 minutes per day and everyone can `stand' doing something, even if they don't love it for only 10 minutes a day. However, you'll like the daily 10 minute plan Jon has designed for you. The simple and effective daily steps will have you making conscious steps toward increasing your positive energy each day. Success builds day-by-day and includes a component of prayer or contemplation that anchors these changes and increases your spiritual energy.

Just as important as what you add to your life is what Jon helps you let go of. Jon guides you to let go of anxiety, stress, guilt and other `energy vampires' in 10 minute bits. As a coach, I support the strategies Jon uses to make small changes over time. The 10-Minute Energy solution is the first book I've seen that address the toll that all forms of electronic media and communications take on us and helps us deal with that. I stumbled across Jon Gordon in a book entitled "The Experts Guide to..." while I waited in a store while my girlfiend shopped. In there he gave a brief outline on having more energy, so I figured I would inquire and learn more. Since this book rec'd 5 stars from several reviews, I figured it was a good place to start and it is. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is stuff we all know, and he manages to make it very accessible, making you realize you can achieve it.

The main thing I took from this book is "Do it!" Reading this book in and of itself, obviously, will not give you more energy, but he makes it so practical that if you APPLY the book you will have much more energy.

I found Chapter 2: Seven Essential Energy Boosters the most helpful. You know them, but you probably ignore them. His section on food is very helpful and worth the cost of the book. I started eating his "Bowl of Energy" every morning. With this recipe you realize how easy it is to eat a healthy, energizing breakfast.

The bulk of the book is the 30 Day Plan. He walks you through 10 minutes a day for 30 days, showing how easy it is to accomplish if you just take 10 minutes.

Are you sluggish? Are you depressed? It may be due to ignoring the 7 essential energy boosters. Purchase and apply this book and I gaurentee it will give you more energy and you will feel better.
