This product should be advertised more!!5
While I was shopping one day with my 5 month old son, I stumbled upon these wonderful diapers. As he was 16.5 lbs, I got the smallest size (size 3 - 16-28[??]lbs; The smallest size available is a size 3 since starting at 16 lbs, a baby is capable of staying down for a long time). I figured if they did not work so well at night, I still needed diapers during the day!!
I tried them that very night, and I must say that I was amazed (and well-rested for the first time in months)!! I give my son a bath, then a rice bottle at 7pm, and he goes right down after that. He did not wake up until 7am then next morning. No joke. 11.5 hours. Usually, he wakes up at 12, 3 and 7 from his diaper, and, of course, he's up, so he's hungry (to compensate for being down for such a long stretch, he has now adjusted and started eating 8 oz of rice formula before bed along with about 6 oz of solid food at 5pm). Sure, the Overnight weighed about 10 lbs (joke) when I took it off him, but I was thoroughly amazed. The special, non-toxic gel inside the diaper keeps the urine at body-temperature and away from the skin, so baby does not wake up from a cold, wet diaper. I have used these for about two months now, and I have yet to see any sign of diaper rash from the urine sitting so close to his skin. I did a touch test on a full diaper, and I felt not one bit of moisture.
I have had the snae results as the first night nearly every night, and let's just say I am getting better sleep because of these. All the local stores ran out of the size 3 for about a month, and I got so desperate for them that I drove about 25 miles to the next local Wal-Mart to find them. Needless to say, I bought a whole case (4 packs; 1 pack = roughly 1 month). I was worried that Huggies discontinued the size 3, for all I could find was 4 and 5. However Huggies emailed me and assured me that was not the case.
All mothers should be told about these diapers in the hospital. All I have to say is, Hurray for Huggies!!

Best overnight diaper in a variety of sizes!5
My son started sleeping through the night about 12 weeks and I was worried about him wetting the bed, so I ordered Huggies Overnights in size 3. [...] The size 3 is for 16 pounds and up. He has NEVER had a leak with the Huggies Overnights. Yes, they are kind of expensive, but well worth it for dry nights and happy mornings. I usually use Pampers Cruisers, but they don't offer an overnight diaper. These are lifesavers!!

No Leaks Since We Began Using Them!5
I can't say enough good things about these diapers! At about 5 months of age, my son began having horrific diaper leaks at night because he preferred to sleep on his tummy (he'd roll there no matter what position we starte him in), and the front of those diapers just couldn't handle the volume of liquid he put into them. It drove me nuts because with working full-time, I didn't have time to do more laundry than I already was; thankfully he never woke up from it, but I still felt bad that he was sleeping in a wet spot!
My son is such a little peanut that he was nowhere near being able to wear the size 4 overnites (and I couldn't find size 3 ANYWHERE...), so we did rubber pants over his regular diaper at night, which was really gross, but worked until he grew a little. Once he was about 16 lbs, I tried the size 4 overnites on him again and they worked just fine...it seemed they went from his shoulder-blades to his nipples, but he was dry in the morning! Now, at 17 months and 23 lbs, he's still wearing those overnites without a leak...and the other reviewers aren't kidding about the weight of those diapers in the morning! But no rashes (we always slather on the diaper cream at night regardless), no leaks, and no extra load of laundry. For our next child I will stock up on size 3's if I come across them so that I will have them available when I need them--that's how much we like these diapers!
