A great view of Ecuador5
I have made many trips to Ecuador and have consulted many travel books on that country. This particular book is the best one I've read - the information is presented in a comprehensible manner and is interesting.

Each section provides you with specific tips that allow you to experience the local culture, thus avoidig any pitfalls that the inexperienced traveler could encounter. The book highlights the country's wide range of cultural and geographical diversity.

Moon Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands...5
This book is a mine of interesting and very useful information.I particularly like the detailed descriptions and recommendation of places to see and places to stay.
It is written in a very easy to read style. My copy is already dog-eared.
I highly recommend it to everyone interested in visiting Ecuador.

Interesting, Contemporary, Useful5
There are lots of guidebooks ... picking one with current information is a first priority. Beyond that, finding one that digs deeper into the kind of questions a typical visitor has turns out to be useful as well. This book does that well. I was also happy with the Internet references scattered throughout so I could find other information too.
