This is a wonderful and practical book. I tried two of the receipes in the book and had instant improvement in the appearance of my indoor and outdoor plants. I will be getting several copies for my gardening friends and family.

Want the Truth? Here it is...4
If you are familiar with any of Jerry Baker's books, videos, or public tv shows, you know the man is a gardening enthusiast (it's infectious!), a font of helpful information, and somewhat of a fussy perfectionist. The last thing he would do is suggest something that is going to hurt your plants.

Many of Jerry Baker's homemade formulas are in concentrated form, intended to be used in a 20 gallon hose-end sprayer, which greatly dilutes the spray. Virtually all hardware and garden stores carry these hose attachments.

(In regard to a previous negative reviewer:-) First, if you spray any concentrated solution you purchase at a garden store directly onto your plants, I guarantee you will burn them to the ground. Second, if you don't know that a hose-end sprayer is a quart jar you attach to the end of your hose, and you can't manage to describe that to store employees to the extent they realize what you are looking for, then maybe you should have someone drive you to the grocery store and just get your vegetables there.
