Deck ideas5
We're thinking of doing some home improvements this spring and summer and I really want a new and more functional deck and have no idea where to start. This book has been very helpful. It gives you pointers on where to put your deck in relation to how you plan to use it, information on materials and of course, tons of photos and information on different styles and features.

I thought doing a new deck would be one of the easy projects but now it's turning into more of an additional living space and taking about as much thought and planning as a room extension would. That's ok. I know we'll end up with a beautiful and functional outdoor space that will get lots of use.
