Customer Reviews

What a great book!!!5
What a wonderful organic gardening book for the indoors. My houseplants are thriving, and I love it! I was amazed at how well they have responded without the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers. This book is a must for all houseplant owners. The illustrations are lovely and the content very informative. I highly recommend it for all gardeners. From choosing plants, to watering, and dealing with diseases, this book has it all.

Great reference I use over and over again5
I keep going back to this book time and again as a reference for my many questions. It is challenging and informative, but is also written for those of us who have had less experience in organic gardening. This book makes a great gift. I have bought 6 to give as gifts and 1 for myself. What a delightful way to enjoy the art of indoor gardening.

My Houseplant Bible5
After reading the first paragraph of this book I realized Julie Bawden-Davis' passion for organic houseplant gardening. Her explanations of horticulture terms are presented in a manner that's easy to understand, witty, but very concise. She includes info on the basics of organic care (soil content, feeding, etc.) for all plants, while also focusing a section on specific plants and their care. Even if one chooses not to adopt organic practices for houseplants, this is still an excellent reference for how to understand the needs of your plants.
