Product Description
Aromatic, anise-flavored leaves are used in seasoning sauces, soups, teas, and vinegar. Bears narrow, glossy green, serrated leaves and small yellow flowers in clusters. The dried leaves and flowers are brewed into a tea traditionally used for colic and malaria. Used as a poultice for rattlesnake bites and ceremonially by native peoples in Central-Southern Mexico. Start indoors 6 weeks before last frost date. Can also be sown directly in the garden. During germination, keep entire seedbed evenly moist.
