Wrong Seeds
I ordered these "Light Blue Star" morning glories back in October, 2008 and knew I had a problem when the seeds arrived. I've grown this variety before and love them, but the seeds I received were black. Light Blue Star seeds should be beige. I wrote the supplier but never heard back. Additionally, the white Thunbergia seeds I bought from Hirts were stamped for 2008, although the 2008 growing season was over in October. White Black Eyed Susan Vine Thunbergia 40 Seeds

I started the morning glory seeds inside last month, just to see what variety they actually were. They bloomed for the first time today and they're deep purple with a reddish star. So the seeds I received are either Grandpa Ott or Star of Yelta, NOT the Light Blue Star pictured.

Mix ups are easy, but a response to my query upon receiving the wrong seeds would have been appreciated. As it is, I'll never buy seeds from this source again - wrong seeds and old seeds make for an unreliable supplier. I encourage others to shop elsewhere as well, unless you like surprises.

Perfect and fast growing.
These germinated very quickly and grew very fast. Lots of blooms as well on these. Started indoors then transplanted outside.
