Erotic in ways surprising
Most of these stories are about what you'd want from a book like this -- idealized tales about beautiful boys having sex with beautiful boys or men, all told in a way that focuses on the sex and all but ignores reality. The writing is okay, but it's no great literature, here. But all you really want is a quick easy read meant to arouse your own imagination. Still a couple of the tales stand out as something more than just a way to get off.

"Doesn't Play Well With Others" by Stewart Lewis is well-written and off-beat in a teasingly-fun way. I like that "I" is never named and Andrew is such a mystery. I also like how the sex is off center yet still engaging. But it's the longest piece, "Perfection" by Kyle Sullivan, that almost achieves something more than just arousal in you; it builds a real character in Joe and an almost human version of idealized male beauty in Aaron in a nearly chaotic emotional tug-of-war between artist and model that leads to a surprisingly satisfactory conclusion, one which I did not expect. I read another book of Sullivan's ("How To Rape A Straight Guy") and the way he shifted from writing a bleak, black, brutal book to writing something so tender is the real surprise.

Recommended for the quick reads...and for having a couple stories that were more than just a way to get off.

One story is worth the whole book
This collection of stories shares the same problem all collections do, namely that the level of the work can vary so much. But there is one story, or rather a novella, that is worth purchasing the book for alone, and that is "Morningwood" by R. Forestier which is far less predictable and far more imaginative than most erotic ficiton (and therefore hotter). I hope STARbooks will publish more work by this author.
