Backwards compatible with PS2 & PS1 games. MGS4 is an excellent FPS/stealth game. My PS3 also serves as my movie player. Upconverts my collection of 130+ DVDs, and allows me to purchase movies on Blu-Ray from now on. Also, the PSN download service is great.

Very fun new racing franchise from Sony.

I'll be picking this up in August. Last year's PS3 version sucked because of the crappy Franchise mode (not to mention several other extremely annoying features and bugs). I actutally sold my PS3 version and UPGRADED to the PS2 version!!! This year, EA promises an improved Franchise Mode, so I'll give the PS3 version another shot. My fingers are crossed.

Just as good, if not better, than the original. Can't wait for God of War III to come out on PS3 next year.

I'm partial to the old Super NES Final Fantasies, but this game IS fun. A huge, huge improvement over the previous few series installments (I thought FFX was garbage). Can't wait for FFXIII to come out on PS3 next spring.

What a brilliant idea this was, Nintendo. No, I'm not talking about the new control scheme (although it is fun). I'm talking about the Virtual Console. Since Nintendo's cartridge-to-disc evolution prevents the sort of backwards compatibility seen on the PS3, they came up with this fantastic service that allows you to download games from the NES, Super NES, N64, etc.

After the Virtual Console, this was my main reason for buying a Wii. I wasn't disappointed... Another worthy entry in the Zelda series that shouldn't be missed.

The gravity effects really are stunning. Playing this game makes me feel like a kid again. A strong dose of that old Nintendo magic...

I tried last year's Wii version, and wasn't super-impressed, but this year's new-and-improved version with the new Wii Motion Plus peripheral is excellent.

How fun is this little machine?! At first, I was skeptical of the touch-screen controls, and the idea of playing a game displayed on two screens. That was pretty silly of me. This handheld console is Fun with a capital F. As a bonus, it's backwards compatible with Game Boy Advance cartridges.

A desert island game. This is the definitive version of Chrono Trigger -- and I played it in '95 on the SNES.

The original Final Fantasy for the NES was one of my favorite games ever when I was younger. This is a very solid GBA remake that comes packaged with the (formerly Japan-only) Final Fantasy II.

Great new addition to the series. Although I'm still a big fan of the original NES and SNES entries in this series, the newer 2D iterations (starting with Symphony of the Night on Playstation in 1997) that incorporate RPG elements are definitely a good time.

The first real 2D Mario game since Super Mario World helped launch the Super Nintendo in 1991. Not the best game in the series, but still very fun. The multiplayer Wii version will be out later this year, and I'll be purchasing it immediately.

Another excellent 2D platformer.

Fast and furious racing game in the 2D style of the SNES original. I'm about ready to give up on hoping for a new installment on the DS or Wii.

Gotta have a portable version of Tetris. Tetris DS is out of print, pricey and extremely overrated (I used to own it). This older GBA version gets the job done for a lot less $$. Just press "L" and "select" on the options menu, and you get a bare-bones old-school version of Tetris reminiscent of the original Game Boy version. Perfect!

Portable Ms. Pac Man and Galaga. 'Nuff said. Namco Museum DS didn't really improve much on this GBA game at all.

Great utilization of the DS touch screen.
